This plaque is dedicated to the First SW Rebels Basketball team, who also won the JCIT tournament!!!  You can find the plaque in the trophy case on the East side of the gym.

WE THANK THE VERY 1ST SOUTHWESTERN CLASS OF 1961

We are indebted to that 1st Rebian staff who planted the seed that has grown & thrived over the years.  With each publication of the Rebian, we honor those that came before and the hope towards the future.  The Rebian is THE official yearbook of the school.  

Thank you Linda Underwood-Firth & others who were there in the very beginning, for establishing such a strong foundation for us to build on.  It was great to see you go on to teach at Southwestern Elementary & continue to influence generations of Southwestern Rebels.  We share these pictures here to ensure that generations to come understand, appreciate & remember you & those who started it all!!!
